In the Telluride Mountain Village, The Peaks Resort and Golden Door Spa is a seven-minute gondola ride from the historic town of Telluride and five miles from Telluride Regional Airport. During ski season, guests will enjoy ski-in/ski-out access to the Telluride ski area, as well as myriad activities ranging from dog sledding to heli-skiing. During warmer months, the resort is close to kayaking, hiking, and fly-fishing.

The property's amenities include the restaurants, five tennis courts, Telluride Golf Club, and ski-in/ski-out privileges. The award-winning Golden Door Spa offers an extensive list of body treatments, an indoor/outdoor pool, fitness center, sauna, whirlpools, waterslide, lockers, steam rooms, and KidSpa. Legends, and a poolside juice and snack bar are available for meals. The hotel also offers parking (for a fee), babysitting
