Located in Madison County, this picture perfect postcard town is booming. Situated next to the Forked Deer River, Jackson is the home to the annual Casey Jones Train Festival, Rockabilly Festival, Shannon Street Blues Festival, the Miss TN Beauty Pageant, and the West TN State Fair. Area attractions include the Casey Jones Train Station, Rockabilly Hall of Fame Museum, Old Medina Winery, and the Downtown Train Depot. Just outside of Jackson we have the Safari Zoo, Birdsong Pearl Farm and Museum, Pinson Mounds, and the Bird Dog Museum. This southwestern Tennessee town is named after Andrew Jackson, who trekked down the western side of what is now Natchez State Resort Park with his troops in 1814.
